Early To Rise, NOPA

Lupolo, Santa Cruz
“As an immigrant-owned business we will be closing our doors today in honor of today’s call for solidarity for immigrant rights. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to reopening for normal business hours tomorrow. #undiasininmigrantes #adaywithoutimmigrants”
Horsefeather, NOPA
Today, Horsefeather stands firmly in solidarity with the “A Day Without Immigrants” movement.
We are a nation founded and continuously enriched by people from every corner of the world—and our team exemplifies that truth.
In fact, each and every person who works at Horsefeather is an immigrant as we are a nation largely comprised of immigrants living on indigenous Ohlone Land. Without us, without immigrants, much of the country simply couldn't operate as we normally would.
To reflect our values and stand in unison with this nationwide movement, our kitchen will remain closed today. We would like to use this time to honor our staff’s invaluable contributions to our restaurant, community, and economy.
We hope you’ll join us in reflecting on how much immigrants add to our collective story—the creativity, dedication, and dreams they bring, day in and day out.
Our bar remains open today serving drinks only, and our hours will be 5pm to midnight. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our diners and anyone with existing reservations.
Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to reopening with our full menu tomorrow, stronger and more grateful than ever.

-Gourmet Taco Shop Crew
Castaneda’s Market, Windsor
Tomorrow, February 3, Castaneda’s Market will be closed in solidarity with our immigrant community as part of a peaceful protest against the recent ICE raids taking place across the country.
This is not a decision we made lightly. We understand the complexities surrounding this issue, but we also know that fear and division go against the very heart of what Castaneda’s stands for. Our market has always been more than just a place to shop — it’s a space that supports teachers, first responders, veterans, and families from every walk of life. We believe in building bridges, not barriers.
By closing our doors tomorrow, we stand with the hardworking individuals who are the backbone of our communities, many of whom are immigrants. Their contributions, resilience, and spirit enrich our lives in countless ways.
We hope this moment inspires reflection, conversation, and ultimately, a more compassionate path forward—one rooted in unity, dignity, and respect for all.
Thank you for standing with us. We’ll reopen on February 4, more committed than ever to serving and uplifting our community.
Los Resort, Mission District
One Love, San Bruno
📢 CLOSED TOMORROW IN SOLIDARITY 📢
As a first-generation American, I’ve seen firsthand the sacrifices, resilience, and hard work that immigrants bring to this country. My family, like so many others, built a life here from the ground up, contributing to the community in ways that often go unseen.
Tomorrow, February 3rd, One Love Cafe will be closed in solidarity with A Day Without Immigrants—a reminder of how essential immigrants are to our society, economy, and culture.
This is personal. This is important. And we stand with our community.
Thank you for your support and understanding. We’ll see you back on February 4th!
Napper Tandy, Mission
