Eddie’s List Newsletter Weekly Recommendation
This week’s recommendation is to ride/support MUNI. Service cuts are strongly being considered for several lines and can have a major impact on folks (and not just the ones who ride the bus).
I will be the first to say I am all about optimization and ensuring systems are efficient, but public transportation is a lifeline for many.
Whether school or work or important medical appointments, a reduction in services may not affect you now/today, but it will through higher costs, turnover at your favorite restaurants, coffee shops, childcare, schools, and more.
The more we invest in basic services for our city, the more we can all benefit. Please make your voice heard.
