Weekly Recommendation
This week’s recommendation is to support one of my favorite non-profits La Cocina: food incubator for talented working-class women, BIPOC & immigrant entrepreneurs. They put on excellent events like last week’s night market pop-up, annual street food festival and helped launch many businesses in the Bay Area. I have volunteered there myself over the years. Opportunities to support them include:
Volunteering (photography, graphic design, mentoring, lawyer, accounting)
Catering services (featuring several of their businesses) & gift boxes
